The staff of the 2023 anime The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten have confirmed that season 2 has been greenlit. A new teaser revealing the season’s key visual have been revealed.
The manga’s original author, Seikisan, initially serialized the series in 2018. A manga adaptation launched on the Manga UP! service in 2022. In January 2023, the anime premiered. The series is available now on Crunchyroll.

In a new teaser, the anime’s staff confirmed that season 2 is in early development. At the time of writing, little information is known about what the second season will have in store regarding its cast and story. A release date has also not yet been confirmed. All twelve episodes for the anime’s first season are available on Crunchyroll. Each episode is approximately 25 minutes. The first episode premiered on January 7, and the most recent aired on March 25. Additionally, the manga adaptation is available on Manga UP! The series is described as follows:
Fujimiya Amane, a high school student, lives by himself in his apartment. Next to him lives Shiina Mahiru, the prettiest girl at school. Someone who everyone calls “an angel.” They never really talk, but when Amane lends Mahiru his umbrella on a rainy day, their relationship starts to blossom.
Before long Mahiru finds out that Amane neglects his cooking and cleaning, and she feels obligated to step in. Although they have zero interest in one another, they slowly find themselves growing closer…
