Netflix has officially released the final trailer for the upcoming anime Pluto. The series will air on October 26 exclusively on Netflix.
Pluto is a manga written and illustrated by the famed mangaka Naoki Urosawa. The series is an adaptation of Osamu Tezuka’s Astro Boy. Urosawa published the series from 2003 to 2009. The full manga is available for reading on Viz Media. The anime will be the first visual adaptation of the series.

The new trailer for Pluto hints at the anime’s central conflict and characters. It reveals more of the tumultuous relationship between robots and humans and the shining bright light that is Atom. Atom is the main character in the series, designed to be an homage to Astro Boy. The series will premiere on October 26, 2023, exclusively on Netflix. The season will feature eight 60-minute-long episodes. The description of the series is as follows:

With an all-star cast of voice talent and staff, as well as adapting one of the most beloved manga of the last twenty years, Pluto will likely be one of the most exciting anime released this year. At the time of writing, Netflix has not yet confirmed if the series will receive a dub. They will likely reveal more information in the next three weeks. Lastly, Pluto will air on Netflix on October 26, 2023.
