Kaito From the Judgment Series Appears in Like a Dragon Gaiden

Kaito meets Kiryu for the first time.

In the October 12 issue of Famitsu, SEGA and RGG Studio confirm that Masaharu Kaito from the Judgment series will appear in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. As usual, Kaito may be seen wearing his signature attire from the Lost Judgment DLC.

Series protagonist Kazuma Kiryu becomes a Daidoji Faction agent after the events of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life. In a story told after Yakuza 6 and before Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Kiryu must adapt to his new life away from his family while dealing with the criminal underworld in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. Kiryu will meet many faces, and one of them will be Kaito-san.

Kaito Returns in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name

The latest issue of Famitsu includes a screenshot of dialogue between Kaito and Kiryu in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. His role in the main story is unknown at this time. However, this could mean that more Judgment characters will appear in the mainline Like a Dragon series. Previously, Kaito was seen in 2022’s Lost Judgment – The Kaito Files DLC.
