At the September 14 Nintendo Direct, Nintendo revealed a look at the final wave of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 6 DLC. New characters include Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Pauline, and Peachette. Diddy first appeared in Mario Kart Double Dash, and Funky Kong first appeared in Mario Kart Wii. Additionally, Peachette and Pauline first appeared in Mario Kart Tour. You can take a look at the announcement trailer below:
Daisy Circuit was the first course revealed to be part of this wave. No other courses were shown off in this trailer. So, expect to see these new courses revealed closer to the release of the DLC. This will most likely be announced through Twitter.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 6 Out This Holiday

The final wave of DLC for the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game is nearing the finish line! Drift and drive under an amber sky in Daisy Circuit from Mario Kart Wii. Or put the pedal to the metal with more returning characters, including Diddy Kong from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Funky Kong from Mario Kart Wii and, from the Mario Kart Tour game, Pauline and Peachette! Wave 6 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass DLC sails onto Nintendo Switch this holiday season. Active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members can enjoy this DLC at no additional cost. The DLC can also be purchased on its own. Stay tuned for more information in the future.
This will be the final DLC wave for the Booster Course Pass DLC. In total, 48 tracks and six new characters have been added to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. This brings the total number of tracks available in the game up to 96.
