Bandai Namco announced One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 DLC The Battle of Onigashima Pack releases on September 14 alongside the Additional Episode 1 DLC. The new DLC allows fans to relive the battles from the Wano Kuni arc, including Gear 5 Monkey D. Luffy vs Kaido.
Luffy (Onigashima) was the first new DLC character revealed for The Battle of Onigashima Pack during One Piece Day ’23. A total of nine DLC characters were confirmed to be on the way for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4. Luffy’s opponent from recent One Piece anime episodes will also join him in the new DLC.
One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 DLC Brings Luffy Gear 5, Yamato & Kaido
The latest gameplay trailer for One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 highlights the move-set of DLC character Kaido (Onigashima), the King of the Beasts and father of Yamato. Kaido (Onigashima) will be playable alongside Yamato and Luffy (Onigashima), who is capable of transforming into Gear 5. Yamato. One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 players will soon be able to reenact the iconic battle between Luffy Gear 5 and Kaido at his full might before its finale in One Piece Episode 1076.
Alongside The Battle of Onigashima Pack, fans may play through additional story content in a new DLC episode. The Additional Episodes Pack will introduce three new episodes starting with Episode 1: Yamato’s Logbook and Soul Sea Map 1 on September 14. Yamato will be the main focus for various new stages, and the new Soul Sea Map brings new skills and power to existing characters. Bandai Namco did not reveal any release dates, however.

Fans may look forward to even more two more DLC character packs. The second DLC pack will include Uta, who was first seen in One Piece Film RED. Uta will be joined by two more DLC characters. Further, the third DLC pack includes the man who started the Great Pirate Era, Gol D. Roger. Roger is joined by as well as two more characters for a grand total of nine playable DLC characters. All nine characters may be purchased at once with Character Pass 2.
Lastly, the One Piece anime series is available to stream now on Crunchyroll. One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
