CD Projekt Red has officially announced that a Night City Wire episode dedicated to Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will air on September 14. The mini-conference will reveal more information about the upcoming expansion set to be released later this month.
CD Projekt Red initially released Cyberpunk 2077 in 2020. Critics panned the game for its unfinished state and deceptive marketing. The upcoming expansion, Phantom Liberty, promises to add everything the original game was missing. CD Projekt Red will reveal more details on the update this Thursday.
Night City Wire for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty
The new Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Night City Wire livestream will begin on Thursday, September 14. Fans can stay tuned for more information about the upcoming release at 5 PM CEST, 8 AM PDT, 11 AM EDT, and 10 AM CDT.

Night City Wire is back — with a special #PhantomLiberty episode! We’ll talk about new radios, learn more about Reed from Idris Elba himself, discuss gameplay & new abilities… and throw in a surprise or two. Don’t miss it!
This Thursday, you can watch the event on CD Projekt Red’s official YouTube and Twitch accounts. According to a recent trailer, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will include the following features:

- These include new finishing animations, an air dash, a deadeye perk, and more.

- Perks include spatial mapping, limiter removal, and more.
- New Vehicles

- New Story Quests and Gigs
- Mounted Weaponry on Vehicles
- Combat AI Overhaul
- Endless Dynamic Events and Features
- Increased Level Cap
- 100+ New Items
While CD Projekt Red promised many of these features would be available at launch, seeing more content added to the 2020 release is exciting. Every new addition mentioned above will be added for free to a new update releasing around Phantom Liberty in September.
Phantom Liberty will be the first and only expansion added to Cyberpunk 2077. The expansion will feature a new story, endings, characters, and more. Pre-orders are available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. CD Projekt Red will likely outline more of what to expect from the upcoming expansion in the coming weeks.
