The official YouTube channel for the upcoming The Idolmaster: Million Live! anime series reveals a new trailer for the final theatrical screenings. These screenings will open on September 29 across theaters in Japan, allowing fans to watch the anime before its TV debut the following month.
In 2022, Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed a TV anime series for The Idolmaster: Million Live! was in production. The mobile title and anime were also featured in a March 2023 issue of Famitsu., but news was scarce for quite some time before the announcement of a theatrical release. Fortunately, Idolmaster fans in Japan won’t have to wait much longer for the theatrical and TV anime premiere.
The Idolmaster: Million Live! Trailer Highlights Final Theater Screenings
The latest trailer for The Idolmaster: Million Live! provides one final preview before the theatrical screening on September 29. Fans in Japan will have the opportunity to watch it theaters before October 19. On October 8, the TV anime series will premiere on TV networks across Japan. A streaming platform for the anime was not announced, however.

The Idolmaster: Million Live! TV anime series will premiere on October 8 at 10:00 a.m. JST. The anime will premiere on TV Tokyo and five affiliate channels. Moreover, BS11 will air the anime on October 9, followed by BS NTV on October 12 and ATX-X on October 13. Before the premiere, the voice cast and producer Wakako Hazama will host a special on October 1 to introduce what the anime is all about.
Shinya Watada is directing the anime at Shirogumi with Yoichi Kato overseeing and writing the series scripts. Additionally, Lantis is producing the music as composer. Bandai Namco Entertainment is planning and producing the anime series. The company is also credited as the original creator of the series.
The Idolmaster: Million Live! first launched on February 27, 2013 for Android and iOS in Japan, and the mobile game ended service on March 18, 2018. The Idolmaster: Million Live! Theater Days, the game’s sequel, is available now for Android and iOS in Japan. Lastly, an anime adaptation the premieres on October 8 in Japan.
