Aniplex has officially confirmed the cast and studio attached to the Demon Lord 2099 anime. The company also revealed a new promo and key visual for the series during Aniplex Online Fest 2023.
Demon Lord 2099 is a light novel initially published in 2021. The upcoming series will mark its first visual adaptation. The anime’s release date has not yet been confirmed at the time of writing.
Demon Lord 2099 Details

During Aniplex Online Fest 2023, the company revealed a new promo video for the upcoming series. They also confirmed that the studio, J.C. Staff, will produce the series. Additionally, they announced that Satoshi Hino and Miku Ito will provide the roles of Demon Lord Veltol and Machina, respectively. This is not their first time portraying the characters, as in 2021, they voiced the characters in a promo for the original novel series.

Daigo Murasaki wrote the novels in 2021. The artist Kureta provided the illustrations. It was awarded the Grand Prize out of 1,056 entries in the 33rd Fantasia Taisho. Currently, three volumes are available under the Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint. Yen Press releases the English edition, which describes the series as follows:

Lastly, the Demon Lord 2099 anime will release sometime in the next year or so. Aniplex will likely reveal more information on the series’ release date in the coming months.
