The staff of the upcoming SHY anime have confirmed that the series will premiere on October 2, 2023. Alongside the premiere date announcement, a brand-new trailer was unveiled.
SHY is a story about the titular character being the superhero representative for Japan. In an age where superheroes have brought worldwide peace, the timid young girl is a beacon of peace with a heart of gold. The anime’s staff confirmed more news on the upcoming release’s worldwide premiere.
SHY Anime Premiering in October
SHY will premiere on October 2, 2023. It will air on TV-TOKYO every Monday during the 24:00 time slot. Additionally, it will stream on Crunchyroll as part of the fall 2023 simulcast lineup. While little information has been revealed on the series’ staff, here is the cast confirmed for SHY so far:

Akita Shoten publishes the original SHY manga by Bukimi Miki in its Weekly Shonen Champion magazine, and an English language version is also available from Yen Press. Masaomi Ando is directing the SHY TV anime at the animation studio Eight Bit.
