    Pokémon: Paldean Winds Episode 1 Now Available on YouTube

    The Pokémon Company announced episode 1 of the new Pokémon: Paldean Winds web anime series is now available. WIT STUDIO (SPY x FAMILY) is producing the new anime series for The Pokémon Company. 

    WIT STUDIO produced the Pokémon: Hisuian Snow web anime series shortly after the release of Pokémon Legends Arceus. During the latest Pokémon Presents livestream, The Pokémon Company confirmed WIT STUDIO would return to produce the new anime series focusing on the Paldea region from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

    Pokémon: Paldean Winds Episode 1

    Episode 1 “Breathe Out” of Pokémon: Paldean Winds is now available to stream on the official Pokémon YouTube channel , and fans can expect it to land on the Pokémon TV app. The new animated web series will “bring Paldea region to life in an all-new way” according to The Pokémon Company. This limited original series follows the story of Ohara, Aliquis, and Hohma—three students on their journey of growth and learning while attending the academy. Pokémon: Paldean Winds will for four episodes, so fans can expect three episodes to release soon.

    Here’s a synopsis of the first episode:

    Just before the arrival of a certain transfer student, three students at an academy in Paldea are tasked with making a video showcasing their school. The reserved Ohara is a skilled flutist, but she’s feeling under pressure due to an upcoming concert. In addition, she’s doing her best to help with the video, but it just isn’t going right. Fed up with it all, she runs away to Glaseado Mountain, under the pretext of doing the academy’s Treasure Hunt activity.

    Pokémon Scarlet and Violet fans may also look forward to The Teal Mask DLC launching on September 13. Several Pokémon will be introduced for the first time, and returning Starter Pokémon from previous generation will be available too. 

    Lastly, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is available now for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
