Rune Factory 3 Special is now available for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam worldwide, and players may purchase the game physically or digitally. To commemorate the launch, XSEED Games and Marvelous released a new trailer to showcase Rune Factory 3 Special before fans dive right in.
Rune Factory 3 Special is an improved remaster of the original Nintendo DS farming action RPG with HD graphics and newly developed 3D character models. Additionally, the remaster includes new features like Newlywed Mode and the “Hell” difficulty. The protagonist, Micah, may enter a romance with one of 11 marriageable bachelorettes, and players may earn special bonuses with save data from Rune Factory 4 Special and Rune Factory 5.
Rune Factory 3 Special on PC and Switch
Rune Factory 3 Special is now available digitally for $39.99 on Nintendo Switch and Steam, and a Digital Deluxe Edition is available for $49.99. Digital Deluxe Edition contents include the exclusive Swimsuit Mode DLC. Fans can also purchase a standard physical edition on Nintendo Switch for $39.99 or the Golden Memories Edition for $79.99. Golden Memories Edition contents include thebase game, a 6” by 4” acrylic standee, an original soundtrack CD containing 36 tracks, a custom 5” by 8” planner containing both a real world calendar and in-game seasons, the “Swimsuit Mode” DLC, and a custom outer box.
As a special gift, users will receive outfits for Micah based on the protagonists of Rune Factory 4 Special and Rune Factory 5. Players must have save data for each game on Nintendo Switch or own the game in their library on Steam to unlock the outfits. Once save data or purchase history is detected, Lest’s Outfit from Rune Factory 4 Special and Ares’ Outfit from Rune Factory 5 is unlocked. Moreover, the “Another Episode” DLC will be available for free for one month after launch. Starting October 2, the Another Episode DLC will be available as paid content for $4.99.
