PAX West 2023 and Nintendo Live have concluded in Seattle this past Labor Day, and ReedPop already prepared dates for PAX West 2024. PAX West 2024 will return to the Seattle Convention Center for Labor Day weekend next year, and PAX Unplugged will be held later this year on the east coast.
PAX West 2023 was held from September 1 to 4 at the Seattle Convention Center alongside Nintendo Live. At the show floor, attendees were able to try out upcoming titles such as Persona 5 Tactica, Persona 3 Reload, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, and much more. Next year, PAX West will return with more gameplay demos and activities for attendees to enjoy.
PAX West 2024 and PAX Unplugged 2023 Dates
PAX West 2024 will be held from Friday, August 30 to Monday, September 2, 2024 at Seattle Convention Center. Attendees will be able to try out 2024’s most-anticipated games, watch intense tournaments, and attend panels featuring fan-favorite content creators and game developers. Further details about the event were not revealed, but fans can expect more information in the coming months.
Before PAX West 2024, the PAX Unplugged 2023 event will be taking place from Friday, December 1 to Sunday, December 3, 2023. Prolific anime and video game voice actor Matthew Mercer will be the speaker for the event’s Storytime keynote. Mercer’s many credits include the Game Master for Critical Role, Ganondorf in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Trafalgar Law in One Piece Film: Red, Jotaro Kujo in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, Yusuke Kitagawa in the Persona 5 series, and Prince Olivert from the Trails series.
“PAX Unplugged is what I want around the end of the year, as more and more of my gaming time is spent around a table,” said Jerry Holkins, co-founder of PAX, Penny Arcade, and Child’s Play. “Plus, this is the show where you can get the purple versions of the shirts and coats and stuff.”
