Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has been the talk of the town. From the new design of characters to a flashy entrance, the first chapter of Boruto Two Blue Vortex was bound to be a hit. And it was. It took social media by storm and rose up the ranks of most popular manga. It comes as a genuine shock that the manga with just one chapter has managed to overthrow Jujutsu Kaisen from the number 3 spot in most popular manga on Manga+.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Now Third Most Popular Manga
With a whopping 530K views, Boruto has overtaken the giant manga Jujutsu Kaisen with one chapter. This is a testament to not only the hype surrounding the manga but also how loyal the fan base is. The series is currently going through a major moment that’s been anticipated since its beginning in 2017, so it’s no surprise how successful it is.
It’s important to note that although Blue Vortex rose through the ranks with just 1 chapter, it’s a continuation of the prequel Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. Many fans that the previous series accumulated automatically picked up the new series.
If you aren’t aware, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex picks up where Boruto: Naruto Next Generations left off. Boruto has no choice but to flee the Hidden Leaf village. He was framed for the murder of Naruto and Hinata by Eida’s powers, even though Kawaki sealed them away. He’s being hunted down by villages allied with the Leaf. Together with Sasuke, he sets off and vows to come back to the village stronger. Chapter 1 saw him return 3 years later when Code attacked the Hidden Leaf Village.
Besides looking forward to the next chapter, Boruto fans should also be excited for the Naruto X Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections, which will feature a story mode for Boruto. There will also be new characters such as Naruto (Baryon Mode), Delta, Kashin Koji, and more.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is available to read on Manga+, where you can read it for free.
