Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2 announced Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections will launch on November 17 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The Steam version did not receive a release date just yet, but more details about the game and physical editions have been revealed.
Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections players may relive iconic scenes from Naruto and Naruto Shippuden in a massive story mode. The new title also includes an all-new original story mode starring Boruto Uzumaki from Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. Several new playable characters will be in the game including Naruto Uzumaki (Baryon Mode), Sasuke Uchiha (Supporting Kage), Indra Otsutsuki, and Ashura Otsutsuki. Even more characters have been revealed today.
Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections Release Date, Pre-Orders, and More Characters
Alongside the announcement of the November 17 release date, Bandai Namco confirms Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections will include Delta, Boro, Koji Kashin, and more playable characters from the Boruto series. Over 130 characters will be playable at launch, making this one of the biggest character rosters in gaming history. Bandai Namco also confirms that the game will receive a physical release and a Season Pass. The Season Pass includes five new playable characters.
Pre-orders are available now for Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections at participating retailers, digital storefronts, and the Bandai Namco Store. Digital and physical editions will be sold, including standard and collector’s editions. All pre-orders include the bonus 20th anniversary costumes for Naruto and Sasuke alongside Naruto’s final battle costume.

- Standard Edition – full game, Naruto and Sasuke bonus costumes
- Digital Deluxe Edition – Standard Edition contents, Kakashi (Maskless) costume, Season Pass, and Naruto (Great Ninja War: End) costume
- Digital Ultimate Edition – Digital Deluxe Edition contents, five extra costumes and two accessories
- Collector’s Edition ($139.99) – full game, special reversible inlay, Naruto and Sasuke figurine set, collector’s box, SteelBook case, and pre-order bonus
- Premium Collector’s Edition ($199.99) – Collector’s Edition and Digital Ultimate Edition contents combined.

Fans may also look forward to new episodes of the original Naruto anime to commemorate its anniversary this September. The Boruto anime is expected to return sometime after the new Naruto episodes air.
