After years of speculation, the Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition has been announced for the Nintendo Switch. The game will be available on October 6, 2023.
2k and Gearbox initially released Borderlands 3 in 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A few years later, they released a next-gen upgrade for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Borderlands 1, 2, and the Pre-Sequel are already available on the Nintendo Switch. Alongside announcing the port, 2k confirmed more information on what to expect from the game when it releases in October.
Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition Comes to the Nintendo Switch
Borderlands 3 will be available on the Nintendo Switch on October 6, 2023. The game will cost $59.99. Both physical and digital editions will be available.

If you’ve never had a chance to play Borderlands 3 and are hoping to experience the action-packed looter shooter on the go, the Ultimate Edition is for you. Alongside revealing the switch port of Borderlands 3, 2k also revealed the Borderlands Collection: Pandora’s Box. The game compiles the entire Borderlands franchise for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It will be released this Friday. Lastly, the Borderlands 3: Ultimate Edition will be available on the Nintendo Switch on October 6, 2023.
