D3 Publisher have announced Custom Mech Wars, a new third-person mecha shooter for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. The title was formerly teased as Project CMW just three days ago.
On August 25, D3 Publisher announced Project CMW and teased the true meaning of the acronym would be revealed soon. A blurred image was shown featuring a mech in the background, so speculation quickly pointed toward a new mecha game.
Custom Mech Wars Officially Unveiled
D3 Publisher opened its official English and Japanese website for Custom Mech Wars, confirming a winter release on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. Fans will be able to build their mech, complete missions in a comprehensive story mode, and compete with other players in online multiplayer. A playable build will available at Tokyo Game Show 2023, which will be active from September 21 to 24 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
