NIS America and PH3 released The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie update 1.0.7 is now available on PC with bug fixes and improvements. This particular update addresses some of the persistent bugs that cause the game to be stuck in a black screen, too.
This past July, NIS America released multiple updates to all existing versions of The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie. These updates fixes bugs involving Link Abilities, issues that cause game crashes, and much more. However, there’s still more work to be done that can improve the game on all platforms.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie Update 1.0.7 Patch Notes
The new version 1.0.7 update for The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie fixes bugs that cause the game to become stuck on a black screen while loading. Moreover, the update fixes a softlock issue and some localization/text errors. The update is currently available for PC via Steam. Fortunately, PH3 is working on bringing more fixes to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 versions.
Read the full patch notes below, via PH3’s latest Steam blog post:
- Fix a deadlock which could occur on some systems in rare circumstances, leading to the game becoming stuck on a black screen during loading / scene transitions.
- Sorry to those that were affected that it took until now to resolve this — we were unable to reproduce it on any of our internal or external test systems until now.
-
- Fix a softlock issue in a small subset of battles, where very high frametime spikes (i.e. when performing an elaborate craft or art on a slower system) could lead tocharacters falling through the floor.
- Improve vertical culling of objects on an interior map.
- Fix the alignment of the battle turn counter in ultrawide aspect ratios.
- Fix a specific late-game button prompt.
- Fix the “Millennial Trove” shop name in its header.
- Replace some mentions of “trophies” with “achievements”
Lastly, The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
