Official channels for the Toilet-bound Hanako-kun series confirm that the new anime series titled After-School Hanako-kun will premiere this October. This new short anime will be airing weekly throughout the fall.
As the name suggests, After-School Hanako-kun is a spin-off manga for Iro Aida’s Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun. The spin-off manga began in pixiv Comic in February 2018. Aida ended the series with chapter 25 in October 2021. Soon, fans will be able to enjoy the series in anime form.
After-School Hanako-kun Release Date
The official X (Twitter) account for the Hanako-kun series released a new trailer for After-School Hanako-kun, confirming the October 12 release date for TBS. A total of four 10-minute episodes will be released over a four-week run. Moreover, Crunchyroll will stream the new anime series two days earlier on October 10 at 11:00 a.m. PDT. The anime will be available to view in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS and India.

Masaki Kitamura serves as series director at animation studio Lerche with Kazuma Nagatomo as series composition writer. Aya Hinoue is the chief animation director and character designer for After-School Hanako-Kun, and Hiroshi Takaki is the composer of the anime’s score. Returning cast members include Megumi Ogata as Hanako-kun, Akari Kito as Nene Yashiro, and Shoya Chiba as Ko Minamoto.
