Zom 100 is a refreshing spin on the apocalypse trope and it’s no wonder it’s one of the top anime of 2023, competing with the likes of Jujutsu Kaisen and Bleach. One major flaw that has been holding it back is the production. There have been many delays of episodes, each feeling like a gut punch. However, things are looking bright for anime fans as the official website of the anime has just released the release dates for upcoming episodes of Zom 100.
Zom 100 Release Dates For Episode 6-9
The anime will be more consistent from now with a new episode airing each week. Here are the release dates for the coming episodes:
- Episode 6 – August 27
- Episode 7 – September 3
- Episode 1-7 Compilation – September 10
- Episode 8 – September 17
- Episode 9 – September 24
The anime will go on break on September 10 and will do a rerun of the previous episodes. It will then go back to airing the next 2 episodes in a timely manner. These are the known broadcasting dates for only these episodes. We will hopefully know more information about the release date for episodes 9 through 12.
The beginning of the season was very rocking with production issues plaguing the studio. This is not a surprise as the studio behind this masterpiece, Bug Films, is very new and was established in 2021. This is their first official anime listed on MyAnimeList and it’s a great start to their hopefully great portfolio of anime. It seems that with this announcement, Bug Films have now sorted out whatever issues was holding them back.
Zom 100: Bucket List of The Dead is about Akita Tendou, an office worker of an exploitative corporation who makes him stay all day and night working. He has been in a never ending nightmare for 3 years. A zombie pandemic happens and despite the severity of the situation, Akita rejoices in the fact that he doesn’t have to go to work. He sets off to do 100 things he never got the chance to do before becoming a zombie.
