ATLUS announced a new trailer for Persona 3 Reload will premiere on August 23, providing another look into the exciting remake. August 30 is the next full moon date, but ATLUS plans to reveal new information during Gamescom 2023 week.
Most recently, ATLUS released an extended version of the Persona 3 Reload reveal trailer during the August 1 full moon. The trailer depicts dialogue that pertains to Shadow experiments, which eventually led to the emergence of Nyx, Tartarus, and the Dark Hour. Fans gain another glimpse into the main story in the latest trailer.
Persona 3 Reload August 23 Trailer
ATLUS’ official Japanese X (Twitter) account for the Persona series confirms that the new Persona 3 Reload trailer will premiere on August 23 at 16:00 JST. The trailer may be watched here. A teaser image for the trailer shows the protagonist’s Persona, Thanatos, so fans can expect more story details to be revealed.

Persona 3 Reload is a remake of the Persona 3 with HD graphics, quality of life improvements, and a few story elements from FES, excluding the Answer scenario. The new remake also includes a revamped battle system, improved social links, new side stories, and an all-new English voice-over. Although new original dungeons were not developed for Persona 3 Reload, Tartarus has been greatly improved, and fans can expect new “Tartarus conversations” while exploring.
Fans in the west will be able try out both Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica at the Koelnmesse during Gamescom 2023. Demos for these new Persona titles will be available at SEGA’s official booth alongside more upcoming titles such as Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and Sonic Superstars. Gamescom 2023 will be active from August 23 to August 27 in Cologne, Germany.
Finally, Persona 3 Reload launches in early 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Windows and Steam.
