PLAYISM and MercuryStudio have officially announced that BREAK ARTS III is in development. The game will be released on PC via Steam.
The game will follow the 2021 title, BREAK ARTS II. The franchise allows players to compete in co-op and competitive matches based on the premise of competing in “robot competitive sports.” Alongside the announcement, PLAYISM confirmed more details on what to expect from the upcoming sequel.
BREAK ARTS III Details
BREAK ARTS III is a racing game that allows you to compete against others in giant mechs. The game will feature detailed customization options, strategic decisions that force you to configure your robot based on the terrain, and stunning graphics. There are also several different modes, including:
- Race
- Battle
- A mode where you can maneuver around a battlefield in an elimination-based deathmatch.
- Battle Racing
- A mix of both racing and battle modes that ranks you based on how well you did in the race, how many rivals you killed, and how many times you got hit.
- Diorama Mode
- You can focus on making your robot look as cool as possible rather than focusing on utility.
- Score Attack Mode
- A mode that requires you to master customization and piloting techniques.
- Co-Op Mode
MercuryStudio also confirmed more information on the BREAK ARTS III‘s customization options via the game’s Steam page:
About BREAK ARTS III Customization
Enter competitions and earn prize money to unlock blueprints for new modules and machines.
If you’re having a hard time defeating your rivals, it’s time to customize your robot. Create your very own custom combinations and strategies to tackle every situation, and you’ll emerge victorious!
What awaits at the end of all your battles…?
The Customization Rabbit Hole Deepens
You can create your very own robots by attaching all sorts of modules to the connectors on the base frame.
By using movable joints, you can make all sorts of parts, such as wings that open when your robot moves a certain way.
In addition, you can customize how your robot moves, add optional parts, pick colors for each part, choose the ammo type for your weapons… The “”bottomless rabbit hole”” that the previous games were known for has just gotten even deeper.
