SEGA announced the Uncle from Another World collaboration event is now live in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis. The collaboration is part of the August 9 update, which introduces a slew of new content.
Today’s new update for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis introduces a new high-difficulty quest called Sign of the Planetbreaker featuring the mighty Dark Falz Solus. The new update will also introduce ARKS Records for Geometric Labyrinth (Rank 2): Solo in Trinitas for all classes. A new Treasure Scratch Ticket event will also be available alongside Mission Pass NGS Season 23, so plenty of free rewards may be earned throughout the month.
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis x Uncle from Another World
The Uncle from Another World collaboration event is live in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis starting today, August 9. The event includes new login bonuses and a special AC Scratch Ticket featuring Uncle from Another World outfits and cosmetics. Login bonus rewards include build parts inspired by Uncle from Another World, Star Gems, SEGA hardware Mags, and so much more. Additionally, a beginner support campaign targeting certain Battledia Yellow will be available for a limited time.
The new AC Scratch Ticket “Uncle from Another World Style” lets players become the “Uncle,” “Elf,” and “Mabel” characters from the anime series. Moreover, the Scratch Ticket includes all-new weapon camos. To commemorate the collaboration, nostalgic SEGA hardware such as the SEGA Mega Drive / Genesis and SEGA Saturn will appear as build parts and holograms.

Where to Watch the Anime
Uncle from Another World is a unique and new isekai comedy anime based on the comic by Hotondoshindeiru. Over 3.3 million copies of the comic are currently in circulation. Fans may view all 13 episodes of the anime right now on Netflix.
“After being in a coma for 17 years, Takafumi’s middle-aged uncle suddenly wakes up speaking an unrecognizable language and wielding magical powers,” the Netflix description reads.
Lastly, Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Epic Games Store, Windows, and Steam.
