Natsume Atari Inc. and ININ have officially announced their next title, Shadow of the Ninja – Reborn, which is also known as KAGE Shadow of the Ninja. The game will be available on most consoles in Spring 2024.
Natsume Atari is known for developing consoles, while ININ is known for developing retro-themed games. Shadow of the Ninja is a game released in 1990 on the original Famicom. It was a two-player co-op game with exciting action and combat. More information about the upcoming reboot will be revealed in September, closer to Tokyo Game Show.
Shadow of the Ninja – Reborn Details
Shadow of the Ninja – Reborn includes several features that separate it from other 2D platformers. For one, the game consists of simultaneous two-player co-op, much like its predecessor. Players can choose between a male or female character and work together to traverse the game’s complicated levels. The game also features a 16-bit art style akin to retro games of the past.
Iku Mizutani, the original game’s composer, will be returning for the upcoming release. Additionally, Dynamic Production will be helping with the visuals. The game also supports English, Japanese, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Simplified, and Traditional Chinese.
