Oshi no Ko manga chapter 125.5 (EX) by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari is releasing soon, and a brief hiatus for the main series will follow after the chapter’s release. The new “Interlude” manga will bring a new story for fans, and a special chapter appears to be on the way.
Oshi no Ko is already one of the most popular anime and manga series of 2023 as it explores the dark side of the idol industry with a comedic twist. In the manga and anime, the reborn twin children of Ai Hoshino, Aqua and Ruby, deal with consequences of the idol entertainment industry.
Oshi no Ko Manga Chapter 125.5 Release Date
Chapter 125.5 (EX) of the ongoing Oshi no Ko manga will release on Wednesday, August 9 at 12:00 a.m. JST. As the chapter number suggests, this will be a special chapter instead of a direct continuation. Fans may read new Oshi no Ko manga chapters as they release on Manga Plus in English. In Japan, new chapters are available in Young Jump and other manga services. Yen Press is also printing and distributing the popular manga series in volumes.

The series will return with Young Jump issue 42 on September 14. During the break, the Oshi no Ko: Interlude spin-off manga will run from issues 37/38 to 41. The new manga will tell a story set in the real world with series mangaka Mengo Yokoyari serving as the main protagonist. The spin-off manga’s main story has not been revealed yet, however.

All 11 episodes of the Oshi no Ko anime are available to stream now on HIDIVE. A second season or cour has not been announced.
