Bandai Namco announced Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Connect, a brand-new mobile entry in the long-running Taiko no Tatsujin series. The game will be free-to-play with in-game purchases.
Previously, Bandai Namco trademarked Rhythm Connect and “TTRC” in Japan this past April. These trademarks implied that a new Taiko no Tatsujin game was on the way, and Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Connect is that new game.
Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Connect Revealed
Thus far, Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Connect is planned for release in Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macao, and Thailand. A release in North America and Europe was not announced, but the game will support English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese language options. Moreover, a release date was not announced.
The new mobile title includes over 600 songs for free. Players may enjoy to title together with LINE friends and leave comments on their favorite songs. The game will regularly receive news and updates through the official Taiko no Tatsujin LINE account.
