Nintendo has revealed new icons for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that will be available on the Nintendo Switch. These new icons will be available for download over the next few weeks.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the recent entry in the beloved Legend of Zelda franchise. A sequel to 2017’s Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the game is available for purchase now on the Nintendo eShop and most local and online retailers. The game costs $69.99.
New Tears of the Kingdom Icons
According to Nintendo, eleven icons will be available over the next few weeks. These include the following:
- Wave 1
- Zonai Zelda, Zonai Zelda and Blue Outfit Zelda, and Purah
- August 3 – August 10
- Wave 2
- Teba and Tulin
- August 10 – August 17
- Wave 3
- Sidon and Yona
- August 17 – August 24
- Wave 4
- Riju and Ganondorf
- August 24 – August 31
- Wave 5
- Regular Yunobo and Corrupted Yunobo
- August 31 – September 7
All the icons mentioned above will be available on the Nintendo Online App on the Nintendo Switch. Players must spend platinum points they can accumulate by opening the app every few days. Most of the icons seen above are available for approximately five platinum points. This isn’t the first pair of icons released for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. When the game was released, a few others were available that depicted Link, Ganondorf, and Zelda. Expect to see more released over the coming months.
