A brand new Red Dead Redemption logo and references were spotted on the Rockstar Games website this morning. This was found by Twitter user @TezFunz2, who shared the logo and the references within the website itself.
This seems to almost confirm the forever-rumored remaster of Red Dead Redemption, which many believed was en route after a rating in Korea earlier this year.
Rockstar Games Presents: Red Dead Redemption
The logo is updated and adds a banner on top of the standard Red Dead Redemption logo, stating “Rockstar Games Presents”. This was found with a reference on the website called “Red Dead Redemption (Rockstar Presents Ver)”. This clearly is a new version of the game, as the former version did not have anything with “Rockstar Presents” on it.
Additionally, a codename was found on the website too. This codename is “RDR1RSP”, which most likely stands for Red Dead Redemption 1 Single Player. Most likely, this will only be a remaster of the single-player content and not include anything related to multiplayer.
About Red Dead Redemption
You can check out a description of the game directly from the official RDR website below:
America, early 1900’s. The era of the cowboy is coming to an end.
When federal agents threaten his family, former outlaw John Marston is sent across the American frontier to help bring the rule of law. Experience intense gun battles, dramatic train robberies, bounty hunting and duels during a time of violent change.
Red Dead Redemption is an epic battle for survival in a beautiful open world as John Marston struggles to bury his blood-stained past, one man at a time.
Will this new Red Dead Redemption logo lead to a brand-new release for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S? We’ll have to wait and see. Take-Two Interactive has a board meeting next week, so it is possible that a reveal is imminent.
