Just recently, PlayStation and Insomniac officially announced that a limited PS5 console and controller bundle would be released for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. For those who already own a PlayStation 5, though, don’t fret. The custom controller and PS5 plates will be available to pre-order seperately from the console. Spider-Man 2‘s Controller and PS5 Plates
Announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2023, the Spider-Man 2 console, controller, and PS5 plates are themed around the game’s story. On the front of the console, Spider-Man’s logo is beginning to be consumed by the symbiote. The console’s back is black, the white symbol sticking out against the darkness. It’s a similar story with the controller.
The controller and console’s themes are meant to foreshadow the influence of the game’s main antagonist, Venom. The most recent trailer shows how the symbiote influences the game’s story and characters. The fact that Spider-Man 2‘s themes and story are visible in the game’s controller and console makes it all the more appealing.
When and Where Do Pre-Orders Open?
Pre-orders for the limited edition console, PS5 plates, and controller for Spider-Man 2 will open on July 28, 2023. Insomniac recently revealed that all products above will be available at 10 AM local time.
As for where you can pre-order the console, plates, and controller will be available on PlayStation Direct and other select local and online retailers. However, make sure to be quick in ordering the bundle because there are only a select few in stock. The price of each of the products is as follows:

When Does the Spider-Man 2 Controller and Plates Release?
The limited edition console, controller, and plates for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will release on September 1, 2023.
