A sneak peek before the Japanese launch.

FuRyu and AQURIA announced a limited-time CRYMACHINA demo is now available in Japan on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The demo will be available right until the action RPG’s launch in Japan.

The new CRYMACHINA limited-time demo allows players to complete the prologue and a portion of the opening stage. Save data from the demo may be transferred into the full game when it’s available on July 27 in Japan. The demo will be available until July 26 at 23:59 JST, so those interesting in trying out CRYMACHINA must make a Japanese Nintendo or PlayStation account. A western release of the demo has not been announced by NIS America, CRYMACHINA’s publisher outside of Japan.

Here’s an overview of CRYMACHINA, courtesy of NIS America:

In a world where humans went extinct thousands of years ago, synthetic beings known as Dei ex Machina have been tasked to bring mankind back. Join three E.V.E, the recreated psyche of deceased humans instilled in synthetic bodies, as they seek their full-fledged humanity and explore Eden to discover the secrets hidden within. Flashy, action-packed combat paired with in-depth weapon customization creates a visually stunning RPG experience. Dark scenery and striking sci-fi visuals bring the world of CRYMACHINA to life.

    • #CLASSY: Destroy larger than life foes with flashy, action-packed RPG combat that flows seamlessly between exploration.
    • #STYLISH: Eye-catching visuals are supported with alluring sci-fi artwork from Rolua and Yoshi6054, bringing the bleak, dark world of CRYMACHINA to life!
    • #STRONG: This emotional story dives deep into the qualities of humans and pushes players to question their perception of humanity.

Finally, CRYMACHINA launches July 27 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 in Japan. In the west, CRYMACHINA launches on October 24 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
