After an exciting first episode last week, Season 2 of Mushoku Tensei is ramping up with Episode 1! Rudeus is back after Slyphy’s focus last week.
This first cour of Season 2 is now airing and will continue to do so until September. After that, it will be a six-month wait until more episodes release. Here is everything we know about the release timing of the latest Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation season 2 episode.
Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Episode 1 Release Date
Episode 1 of Mushoku Tensei season 2 is set to air at 10:00 AM CDT on Sunday, July 9. Every episode of the season should follow this pattern barring any unforeseen circumstances such as production issues. Internationally, season 2 of Mushoku Tensei is exclusive to the Crunchyroll platform. Episode 1 of season 2 can be watched on the Crunchyroll platform. Season 1 of the show is available on Hulu; however, season 2 only streams on Crunchyroll. Here is a list of release times depending on your time zone and region.

Episode 1 Preview
Episode 1 of Mushoku Tensei season 2 is titled ‘Depressed Magician’. We will finally get our first look at Rudeus this season, who did not show up during the first episode.
Last week, we saw Slyphy fall from the sky into a brand-new kingdom. She ended up getting taken in by the Princess, who she served and protected as a guard. The episode ended with Slyphy staying with the princess to guard her in her sleep, and an assassin attempted to murder the princess.
This episode leaves that behind for now and focuses on Rudeus. We’ll see what he is up to and some of the brand-new characters he has met along the way. He’s still on his quest to find his mother and still longing for the whereabouts of Eris. This will begin the adaptation of Volume 7 of the light novel.
