Nintendo released a brand-new trailer for upcoming adventure platforming game Pikmin 4 introducing the basics of Pikmin and the game world. For those new to the Pikmin series, the new “Your First Expedition With Pikmin” provides an insightful four-minute guide for Pikmin 4.
After watching the new trailer, eager players may download the recently released Pikmin 4 demo by heading to the Nintendo eShop. The new demo provides a sample of the game’s early hours, allowing players to learn the basics with hands-on playtime. Save data from the demo transfers over into the full game, and players who complete the demo earn a Pikmin 4 Oatchi-Rider costume the Pikmin Bloom mobile game. A Nintendo Account must be registered with play activity in the demo and Pikmin Bloom to receive the bonus, however.
Additionally, Pikmin 1 and Pikmin 2 are available now in the Nintendo eShop. All four mainline Pikmin games will be available on Nintendo Switch once Pikmin 4 is available later this month. Fans may also look forward to physical release of Pikmin 1 and Pikmin 2 on September 22.
