Capcom has officially revealed the fighting pass for Rashid before his release in Street Fighter 6. The pass is called “Rashid Arrives” and will last from July 4 to July 23.
Rashid is confirmed to be the first of many DLC characters that will be added to Street Fighter 6. Officially announced in May, Capcom revealed that Rashid will be released later in the summer. With the fighting pass announced, fans should expect to see Rashid added to the game sometime next month.
Rashid Arrives Fighting Pass
The “Rashid Arrives” fighting pass will include a variety of different cosmetics, as well as other goodies that can be used in the Battle Hub. These include new “Avatar Gear” modeled after Rashid, a new emote, new titles, a new device wallpaper, some new stickers, and a border that can be used in the game’s photo mode. Additionally, Capcom’s 1986 horizontally scrolling shooter Hyper Dyne Side Arms will be added to the Battle Hub’s arcade cabinets. Lastly, the fighting pass will also add the following music tracks from Street Fighter V:
- Rashid’s Theme
- Laura’s Theme
- Necalli’s Theme
The fighting pass is now available for 250 Fighter Coins and will last until July 23. The reveal alludes to Rashid’s imminent arrival in Street Fighter 6. This is supported by the fighting pass and EVO 2023, set to begin on August 4. EVO is where the most significant fighting games are showcased on the world stage, and the developers behind them reveal their future projects. With Street Fighter 6 having the highest registration numbers out of the entire game lineup at EVO 2023, fans can expect to see more information about Rashid at the upcoming tournament.
Street Fighter 6 is available on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game is already a massive success, selling one million copies in just a few days.
