New gameplay footage for Armored Core VI: The Fires of Rubicon has been officially unveiled. The showcase reveals four minutes of gameplay that demonstrate how the game’s combat and traversal will function.
The upcoming game is From Software’s first Armored Core game in over ten years. The gameplay trailer reveals that the new game will capture the same high-speed combat and movement the franchise is known for. Armored Core VI will release later in the summer.

The four-minute gameplay showcase reveals more information about how Armored Core VI‘s gameplay will function. The first few minutes focus on the world where the game will take place, Rubicon. The landscape is grimy and industrialized, an excellent fit for the giant mechs that roam the skies.
Speaking of roaming the skies, one of many abilities available to players is the freedom to take flight at will. This allows for more significant traversal between the massive vistas of Rubicon, as well as grants the ability to close the gap between enemies quickly. The combat of Armored Core VI is fast and frantic. It combines a mix of ranged rockets as well as up-close melee swings. This mix allows for a massive amount of player freedom in how they choose to deal with opponents.

Players will have the opportunity to change the weapons their core can wield, their chest pieces, their legs, the colors of their mech, and much more.
