This past March, Aniplex ultimately decided that episode 9 of NieR: Automata Ver1.1a must be delayed indefinitely. Aniplex apologized for the delay and reiterated the importance of a healthy working environment for its employees.
Episode one of the NieR: Automata Ver1.1a English dub premiered March 18 with returning voice actors from the action RPG. Fans may also stream the first eight episodes of the anime with English subtitles or dubs on Crunchyroll.
