Upcoming Yakuza / Like a Dragon Releases
After catching up on the entire Yakuza series, including Yakuza: Like a Dragon, fans may look forward to Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. The new Like a Dragon game stars Kazuma Kiryu (voiced by Takaya Kuroda) in a story that bridges the gap between Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. In addition, Kiryu will have access to two different fighting styles: Yakuza Style and Agent Style. Yakuza Style is Kiryu’s tried-and-true fighting style from prior games, whereas Agent Style is focused on crowd-control and the use of high-tech gadgets.
In Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Kazuma Kiryu and Kasuga Ichiban team up as dual protagonists in a grand adventure RPG. The game picks up after the events of Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and Yakuza: Like a Dragon. In a reveal trailer shown at Xbox Games Showcase 2023, Ichiban may be seen waking up naked on the shores of an American beach.
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name releases on November 9 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Finally, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth releases in early 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
