Final Fantasy XVI Reveals ‘What Will That Justice Save?’ Trailer

Another new trailer, because why not?

    Published:

Today during the Final Fantasy XVI Special Pre-launch Livestream, a brand new trailer titled ‘What Will That Justice Save?’ was revealed. This trailer has an extremely unique style and is focused on the story we will encounter in Valisthea.

As of now, the new Final Fantasy XVI trailer is only available in Japanese. This is just one of the numerous trailers that have dropped for the title over the past few weeks. At this live stream, the developers also confirmed that there would indeed be a pre-launch update for Final Fantasy XVI, launching on June 20.

Final Fantasy XVI is being developed by Creative Business Unit III, led by Director Hiroshi Takai and Producer Naoki Yoshida. CBUIII is behind the critically acclaimed MMO Final Fantasy XIV, which continues to grow each year.

Clive Rosfield is the main protagonist of the title, voiced by Ben Starr. He is the only playable character, as the game has a high action focus, or at least more so than previous Final Fantasy titles. Combat design has been directed by Ryota Suzuki, who was a key member of the Devil May Cry 5 and Dragon’s Dogma combat design teams.

A demo is available now for free on the PlayStation 5 store. Players can access two different segments in it, one of which being the Prologue demo, and the other the Eikonic Challenge. You can learn all about the demo by checking out the posts below.

Final Fantasy XVI is set to launch on June 22, 2023, exclusively on PlayStation 5. The game will come to PC sometime after the PS5 exclusivity period ends.
