How to Download the Final Fantasy XVI Demo
To download the FFXVI demo, follow the steps below.
- First, head to the PlayStation Store on your PlayStation 5 console.
- Final Fantasy XVI should be on the front page if you scroll down to ‘Upcoming Titles,’ but it is easier to just search for the game using the Search feature. Search for “Final Fantasy XVI Demo“.
- Once you’re on the page for the game, click ‘Download’.
That’s really it! It is super simple to find and download the demo for the latest game from Square Enix. If you actually want to play it, though, the steps are a bit different but easier.
How to Play the Final Fantasy XVI Demo
To play the FFXVI demo, you’ll need to head to the home screen of your PlayStation 5 console. Once there, simply click play on the demo to launch into it.
The demo is a two-hour demo that takes you across Valisthea in the Prologue. This will allow you to get a good taste of how the game looks, feels, and acts. If you’re still on the fence about XVI in any capacity, you should try the demo to see the game for yourself. Save data will carry over to the full release, so you won’t have to replay this section when the game launches.
