Bloober Team has officially revealed the Story Trailer for Layers of Fear before its release on June 15th. First announced in 2022 as Layers of Fears, the new release comes with a statement from Bloober Team’s PR about the upcoming release.
New Information From Bloober Team
“The official premiere of Layers of Fear is just around the corner, and it’s no secret that everyone at Bloober Team and Anshar Studios has been waiting for this moment for a long time,” said Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babiano. “We are thus closing an important chapter in our history, and are very much interested in general feedback from the Layers of Fear community. We hope that fans of the series—as well as new players—will enjoy the unique atmosphere of the game and immerse themselves fully in it. We wish you great fun, as much as we were having during the development process!”
Layers of Fear will be playable on Mac, PC, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series X|S. It will take full advantage of Unreal Engine 5. The official trailer reveals that players can buy the full game for $30. A Deluxe Edition is also available for five dollars extra. A 30% discount is available to owners of Layers of Fear (2016) and/or Layers of Fear 2 (2019). The offer is available for up to two weeks after release.
The Final Chapter of the Layers of Fear Story
Layers of Fear marks the final entry in the franchise that began in 2016. The new release will be the “definitive way” to experience the franchise. It includes Layers of Fear (2016) and Layers of Fear 2, as well as all of the accompanying DLC. Finally, the game will include the story of “The Writer” which will tie the entire franchise together.
