New gameplay for Devolver Digital and Galvanic’s Wizard With a Gun was officially revealed at the Devolver Showcase. Devolver revealed that the game will release later in 2023.
Developed by Galvanic and published by Devolver Digital, Wizard With a Gun was first announced in 2021. Initially revealed as a brand new multiplayer survival co-op sandbox game, information has been scarce since the initial reveal. Finally, after almost two years of waiting, Devolver has revealed more gameplay information about the game in their recent Showcase.
Wizard With a Gun Reveals Gameplay Features
The game’s survival mechanics and unique art style are on full display in the new footage. Players can gun down enemies in the environment and pick up resources in order to survive. Wizard With A Gun’s gameplay also implements crafting, with the ability to make enhanced bullets being a necessity for survival. Finally, there is the ability to build shelter away from danger. The gameplay trailer for Wizard With a Gun also showcases the cooperative sandbox mechanics.

New Demo and Trailer Available Now
Wizard With a Gun will be available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam in 2023. It will release on the Switch at a later date. Currently, there is a single-player demo available exclusively on Steam. Fans can expect more information about the game, including an official release date, before the end of the year.
