NIS America to Delist Demon Gaze, The Lost Child, and More by End of 2023

Several titles will no longer be available for purchase.

NIS America announced via Twitter that several Experience and Kadokawa Games-developed titles will no longer be available for purchase by the end of 2023. The company will delist several titles from the Nintendo eShop and PlayStation Store in US and EU, including Demon Gaze and The Lost Child

An exact reason for the mass delisting was not confirmed, but Final Weapon assumes that publishing rights have expired or will be returned to developers. A similar situation occurred with the Danganronpa franchise as publishing rights returned to Spike Chunsoft from NIS America in 2020. The games that will be delisted are Demon Gaze, God Wars: Future Past, The Lost Child, God Wars: The Complete Legend, NAtURAL DOCtRINE, and Demon Gaze II.

    NIS America Soon-to-be Delisted Games

Demon Gaze for PlayStation Vita will be delisted first on June 11, followed by God Wars: Future Past for PlayStation 4 and Vita on June 15. 15 days later, The Lost Child for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita will be delisted on June 30. Two months later, God Wars: The Complete Legend for Nintendo Switch will be delisted on August 30. On September 29, NAtURAL DOCtRINE for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Vita will be delisted. Lastly, Demon Gaze II for PlayStation 4 and Vita will be delisted on November 13.

Fortunately, Demon Gaze EXTRA appears to unaffected since the game is published by Clouded Leopard Entertainment. Demon Gaze EXTRA is an enhanced version of the original Demon Gaze with quality of life improvements, a “Retry” function, upgraded graphics, and much more. Demon Gaze EXTRA is currently available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.

Here’s an overview of Demon Gaze EXTRA via the Nintendo eShop:

Can you master the rampaging Demons?

The protagonist becomes a bounty hunter using the Demon Gaze, an eye that controls Demons. As a Demon Gazer, he is uniquely capable of taking on the Demons that dwell in the region’s labyrinths.
