Konami announced interactive streaming horror series Silent Hill: Ascension launches in 2023 for unannounced platforms. The upcoming Silent Hill title is developed by Genvid, Behaviour Interactive, Bad Robot Games, and dj2 Entertainment. Additionally, a brand-new trailer was unveiled.
In Silent Hill: Ascension, the audience will determine the outcome of events and characters collectively as they progress through the streaming title. Players can expect to follow multiple main characters that are “tormented” by new Silent Hill monsters. The new title will attempt to faithfully recreate the signature survival horror feel of Silent Hill later this year.
“We’ve gone the extra mile to create a dreamlike world in Silent Hill: Ascension with disturbing, hyper-detailed characters, other-worldly monsters, immersive atmospheres, and an overall audio and visual design that our team is very proud of,” said Bad Robot Games art director Chris Amaral. “The detailed environments, the eerie ambiance, and the realistic characters and monsters should really enhance the horror experience, creating something that is pure Silent Hill, while also feeling unique for the franchise.”
