Final Fantasy XIV 6.4 Patch Notes Released

Several pieces of content and changes on the way.

Square Enix released extensive patch notes for Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.4: The Dark Throne ahead of the May 23 launch. The main scenario of Final Fantasy XIV continues with the release of patch 6.4, and players may enjoy several pieces of additional content.

Patch notes for Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.4: The Dark Throne reveal that seven new main scenario quests will be available on May 23. If players have completed the ‘Gods Revel, Lands Tremble” main scenario quest, they will start with the “Currying Favor” quest in patch 6.4. Players can expect five more “Chronicles of a New Era” quests for the final batch of Pandæmonium raids after completing “Truth Imperfect.” Additionally, new side story quests will be added for Tataru’s Grand Endeavor and Island Sanctuary.

Although the patch notes are preliminary, several details about balance adjustments, changes to Allagan Tomestones, additions to Duty Roulette, and much more were revealed. We recommend visiting Final Fantasy XIV Lodestone to view the patch notes due to the sheer amount of content and changes. More details may be added to the patch notes on May 23 after the update is available.
