Azure Striker Gunvolt series developer Inti Creates have revealed Umbraclaw, a brand-new side-scrolling action game coming soon to PC via Steam. The game’s development is led by Blaster Master Zero Satoru Nishizawa, and a release date has not been announced. The game supports English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese language options.
In Umbraclaw, players control a cat named Kuon through the afterlife known as fantasy storybook-like realm known as the Soulplane. The Anima Revive system give Kuon multiple abilities from other animals. These abilities are crucial toward making it through the Soulplane. Umbraclaw is currently in development at Inti Creates, and console versions were not confirmed thus far.

The announcement of Umbraclaw comes a few weeks after Inti Creates confirmed that the studio is moving on from the Azure Striker Gunvolt series for now. The Gunvolt series has come to a close for now as the studio seeks to develop new projects.
