    Redemption Reapers Physical Release Delayed to July 2023, PS5 Version Confirmed

    More improvements to be made and features to be added.

    Binary Haze Interactive and Adglobe have delayed the physical release of Redemption Reapers from its original April 2023 release window to early July 2023. Additionally, the developers confirm Redemption Reapers is coming soon to PlayStation 5.

    The physical release of Redemption Reapers for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 was delayed to implement further quality improvements and new features through free updates. Moreover, the physical release was delayed due to development of a PlayStation 5 version, which will be available as a free upgrade for owners of Redemption Reapers for PlayStation 4. A release date for the PlayStation 5 version was not announced, but the contents of the free updates were revealed.

    Redemption Reapers version 1.3.0 will release with usability improvements, game balance adjustments, and various user interface additions and tweaks, The PlayStation 5 version releases alongside version 1.4.0. Version 1.4.0 includes Easy Mode and the long-awaited New Game+ feature. More details about these two updates will be revealed at a later date. 

    The Redemption Reapers version 1.2.0 update is available now with adjustments to volume for in-game narration and events. This new update also fixes various bugs affecting gameplay such as opponent hit rate, weapon durability, and AI. Players should install the latest update to remedy these bugs before they occur during gameplay.

    • Fixed issue where the opponent’s hit rate would always be at 0% when using the butterfly sting
    • Fixed issue where only 5 weapons could be stored in the storehouse
    • Fixed issue where Lug’s attack skills would not consume weapon durability
    • Fixed issue where the weapon durability decreased when using the recovering/defending skill
    • Fixed issue where Karen’s second accessory would have a “!” mark on it
    • Fixed issue where the event movie would be skipped automatically
    • Fixed issue where the achievement for clearing a chapter would be unlocked after clearing a skirmish
    • Fixed the growth parameter after training
    • Adjusted Glenn’s endurance growth rate
    • Changed parts of the NPC’s AI
    • Adjusted the display of the current experience level on the battle map

    Lastly, Redemption Reapers is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
