It seems that Yoko Taro is still indeed busy. The man behind NieR: Replicant and NieR: Automata has now been confirmed to be involved in a brand new anime project. This anime, KamiErabi GOD.App, involves Yoko Taro as the Original Concept designer.

This anime is a CGI production, meaning it will be made entirely through the power of CGI, like Trigun Stampede. The animation studio in charge of the project is UNEND.
Hiroyuki Seshita, who is known for his work on Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters, Knights of Sidonia, and BLAME! is directing the project. Atsushi Ookubo, known best for his series Fire Force, has been tasked with the design of each of the characters in this anime involving Yoko Taro.
Additionally, Jin, who is known for his work on Kagerou, is set to pen the script for KamiErabi GOD.App. With such a packed staff, this anime seems to surely be a wild ride.
KamiErabi GOD.App is scheduled to be released in October 2023, which falls in with the Fall 2023 anime season. Currently, the Winter 2023 season is just wrapping up, as the Spring slate is set to begin starting next week.
