Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty – How to Decorate Equipment

You can play dress-up in Wo Long.

Do you need the stats of certain equipment, but don’t like the way it looks? Or, do you just want to make your character look more unique? Thankfully, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty allows players to decorate their equipment. While purely cosmetic, you can change the appearance of weapons and armor, as long as you have the Copper for it, which shouldn’t be much of an issue.

Where Can You Decorate Your Equipment in Wo Long?

First, you’ll need to talk to Zhu Xia, the blacksmith who upgrades your weapons and armor throughout the game. You will first find her in the game’s second mission, “Two Chivalrous Heroes”. She will be available to talk to in each level after this until “The Demon Fort of the Yellow Heaven”. After this mission, she will reside in the Hidden Village for the rest of the game.

All you need to do is to talk to the blacksmith and navigate to “Decorate”. There you can select which equipment you want to modify. It’s worth noting that if you’re looking for some in-depth customization, you’ll want to keep your expectations in check. You can only make equipment resemble the appearance of different equipment you have found. If you want more options, you’ll need to find new equipment as you explore.

While it isn’t very in-depth customization, this feature will come in handy when you want to make your character look a bit more flashy. As we all know, style is very important when going into battle, and looking drab increases your chances of losing by 1000 percent. Wait, it actually doesn’t matter at all? Anyhow, being able to decorate your character is a very welcome feature nonetheless. I’m looking forward to seeing how other players dress up their characters.
