Forspoken Trophy List Revealed

Forspoken's Cuff may be gold, but you can still strive for its platinum.

The Forspoken trophy list has been spotted in the wild. Luminous Production’s first title since 2016’s Final Fantasy XV is coming soon to PlayStation 5 and PC. Like, “tomorrow soon”: the game’s official release date is January 24, and if you have the game preloaded, you’ll be able to play the moment the clock strikes midnight tonight.

Forspoken‘s trophy list consists of a few story progression trophies but is mostly made up of unmissable gameplay achievements. Most of these challenge players to use combat or traversal techniques a certain number of times. The rest of the list includes things like, “obtain all equipment”, “learn all spells”, and “unlock 80% of the archive”. This leads us to believe getting Forspoken‘s platinum trophy will require nearly 100% completion of the game.

By reading into some of the trophies, we can see that the new Square Enix title has more than a few similarities to its developer’s last game, FFXV. On top of running in the Luminous Engine and appearing to share some animations, Forspoken will feature camping and photography (in-game, not photo mode). Camping and photography were two key features of the last numbered Final Fantasy game.

These trophies are light on spoilers, but they do non-specifically refer to plot points. Without context, they’re especially vague. I’d warn only the very biggest spoiler-haters to avert their eyes. Although, players who want to be kept completely in the dark probably wouldn’t be checking out trophies.

This is specifically the Forspoken trophy list for PS5, but PC players can safely assume that the Steam achievements will be the same, minus the platinum trophy.
