Type-Moon has announced that Tsukihime -A Piece of Blue Glass Moon- has surpassed over 300,000 copies sold. The last update for Tsukihime Remake’s number of copies sold was in September 2021, which was almost over a year and a half ago now. This is an impressive amount of copies sold for the visual novel, which is a remake of Arceuid and Ciel’s routes.
In September 2021, Kinoko Nasu specifically stated he’d like to see Tsukihime receive English and Chinese support in the future. This might happen in the near future if recent releases are anything to go off of. This past December, Witch on the Holy Night was released worldwide on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. This was an updated remaster of the 2012 original, with voice acting and updated HD visuals.
Witch on the Holy Night is the first Type-Moon visual novel to receive an official English translation, which is a massive milestone for fans worldwide. It has been two decades without any glimpses of an official Type-Moon VN English release, but this has now changed course thanks to this release. Be sure to check out our review of the title!
Tsukihime -A Piece of Blue Glass Moon- is available now across both PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
