Trigun Stampede English Dub Premieres on January 21 Featuring Johnny Yong Bosch

    The iconic voice actor returns.

Crunchyroll announced the official English dub for Trigun Stampede premieres on January 21 with Johnny Yong Bosch returning as the iconic voice of Vash the Stampede.

Johnny Yong Bosch is the original English voice actor for Trigun (1998) anime series. The anime would kickstart Bosch’s career into prominent roles in anime and Japanese games. These roles include Joshua Bright in Falcom’s The Legend of Heroes: Trails series, Ichigo in the ongoing Bleach anime, and Yu Narukami in the Persona 4 series. Bosch returns for the Trigun Stampede English dub premiering January 21.

“Voicing Vash the Stampede in the original Trigun series is a role that literally launched my voice-over career and I am extremely excited to voice him again in this all new anime adaptation from Orange,” said Bosch at Crunchyroll. “I look forward to going on this adventure with fans once more and hope new audiences enjoy the journey as well.”

Here’s an overview of Trigun Stampede:

Vash the Stampede’s a joyful gunslinging pacifist, so why does he have a $$6 million bounty on his head? That’s what’s puzzling rookie reporter Meryl Stryfe and her jaded veteran partner when looking into the vigilante only to find someone who hates blood. But their investigation turns out to uncover something heinous—his evil twin brother, Millions Knives.

Trigun Stampede is streaming now on Crunchyroll.
