Fire Emblem Engage Details Paralogues and Sommie

Returning feature and a new creature.

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems revealed new details about Fire Emblem Engage including Paralogues and the mysterious creature, Sommie.

While progressing through Fire Emblem Engage, players may unlock and play through Paralogues. Paralogues are optional quests that may yield valuable rewards and additional allies. These quests may be accessed directly from Fire Emblem Engage’s world map. Further, Paralogues may contain more scenes with specific characters. It may be a good idea to play through Paralogues when available according to Nintendo.

The island of Somniel is home to a mysterious creature named Sommie. Sommie has been a resident of Somniel since ancient times. Taking good care of Sommie may lead to good fortune and rewards. A new video shows Alear and Vander talking about Sommie in Fire Emblem Engage.

Here’s an overview of Fire Emblem Engage via the Nintendo eShop:

In a war against the Fell Dragon, four kingdoms worked together with heroes from other worlds to seal away this great evil. One-thousand years later, this seal has weakened and the Fell Dragon is about to reawaken. As a Divine Dragon, use rich strategies and robust customization to meet your destiny—to collect Emblem Rings and bring peace back to the Continent of Elyos.

Team up with iconic heroes from past Fire Emblem games

Summon valiant heroes like Marth and Celica with the power of Emblem Rings and add their power to yours in this brand-new Fire Emblem story. Aside from merging appearances, Engaging lets you inherit weapons, skills, and more from these battle-tested legends. The turn-based, tactical battle system returns with a fresh cast of characters you can customize and Engage to carefully craft your strategy.

Lastly, Fire Emblem Engage launches January 20, 2023 for Nintendo Switch.
